The core requirement for this project was to create a single tablet based application to help Westpac not only know their customer, but to understand them better as well.
Different bank staff across different channels from (branch managers to premium bankers) have had to navigate through a series of old and dated systems, paper based files and even archives of personal notebooks to retrieve customer information and insights. Therefore, the other intention for this project was to digitise that process and centralise customer info in one spot.
The platform needed to link up to a summary the customer’s existing accounts. It needed a way to capture the customer’s short and long term financial goals. And the platform needed to provide a way for bankers to help set up plans of action to help them reach these goals.
